Armani Libri

Armani libri is situated at the entrance of Armani flagship store in Milan. It has a good selection of fashion and design books both in english and italian. Very chic and nicely facing the cute piazza on the way to Milan's Brera area. I feel like it lacks the cosy atmosphere I'm looking for in a bookstore though. I bought there a book on Gianni Versace and one on Valentino, both in Italian.

The bookstore at the entrance of the Armani building, by the end of Via Montenapoleone, has a very interesting story. During his visits to Köln, Giorgio Armani is highly impressed by Walther König's extensive bookshop and becomes a regular of the place. After a long-lasting friendship, Armani proposes him to open a bookshop that König would design anyway he liked, in the new Armani building. From http://thebonemagazine.com
