Assouline Paris

In the 6th arrondissement 35 Rue Bonapart, there is the Assouline shop with a small entrance but a spacious inside. So many books to choose from and  so much time it requires to fully experience the pleasure. I didn't have much time so I bought the books that were already in my wish list: Azzaro, Klimt & Fashion and Geoffrey Beene: An American fashion rebel. 

I was very happy to see that the lady who helped me in the cash desk was very much interested in my blog. She noted the address and asked for information. While paying, I loved this quote of Francis Bacon written on one of the candles: 

"Age appears to be best in four things; old wood best to burn, old wine to drink, old friends to trust, and old authors to read"
